    The project:

    Ministry of Justice, Mace, the designer and main contractors working in an Alliance to deliver the pre-construction stages of four new prisons to be built in England. These prisons form part of an overall programme that will deliver 13,000 modern and efficient prison places, and meet future capacity demands.

    The Contractors Alliance seeks to engage four major UK contractors in a collaboration, promoting joint processes and shared working practices which are intended to achieve improved efficiency, cost savings and other Improved Value outputs to the MoJ. Through such engagement, the overall objective is to achieve an alignment of interest between the Alliance Members. Ultimately the MoJ aims to gain pricing, programme, quality and social value benefits from the direct output of the works undertaken by the alliance.

    • The security project manager will assist the programme security lead/ operations director to manage and implement security across secure projects and provide assurance to clients regularly.

    You'll be responsible for:

  • Project manage security across a portfolio of projects for Mace.
  • Win work across the business increasing the portfolio of secure projects.
  • Prepare security documents for secure projects.
  • Manage security and assure projects across the business.
  • Carry out security audits and prepare assurance reports.
  • Meet with external stakeholders and consultants, provide security advice and maintain relationships.
  • Work with project managers to ensure the implementation of security processes across various projects.
