    Contract:
    Permanent, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

    Salary:
    £49,006 (pro rata) per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.

    Location:
    London (The role will be based in London however, we are operating hybrid working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

    Do you want to be part of a diverse team of creative arts professionals working across one of the most exciting theatre sectors in the country? As a Senior Relationship Manager at Arts Council England, you will contribute to Arts Council's role as a national development agency and will manage partnerships, investments, and development programmes across the London Area, and lead a team of experienced Relationship Managers to carry out cultural development work.

    You will be part of a small London theatre management team of three, reporting to the Director of Theatre and London, managing a team of eleven Relationship Managers and one Assistant.

    In addition, you will be part of the London Area Management Team and the National Theatre Team – amongst other team memberships.

    As a member of the London Area Management Team , you will lead on key strategic priorities in London to contribute to the development and delivery of Arts Council programmes and investment, ensuring our work benefits more people as part of the delivery of our strategy for , Let's Create.

    You will have specialist knowledge of the London theatre sector and an interest in arts and culture more generally, , You will be skilled at leading and motivating teams, and capable of creating strong partnerships with local stakeholders at a senior level.

    Experience of managing a team of staff and as well as direct line management
    Demonstrable experience of managing projects
    Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of business planning and financial reporting.
    A strong knowledge of the theatre industry or the wider performing arts industry.

    An understanding of the Nolan principles for working in public life and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

    A final salary pension scheme
    25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and annual winter closure leave (three days between Christmas and New Year) plus one additional day for each year of service up to 30 days
