- Finance Director position based in the West Midlands.
- Well established business in high-potential sector
- Acting as trusted advisor to the MD.
- Day-to-day management of the accounts team
- Preparing & presenting monthly management accounts
- Maintaining Balance Sheet integrity, including the reconciliation process
- P&L preparation and variance analysis (covering sales, margin & overheads)
- Board reporting, commentary and KPI analysis
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- VAT control and associated HMRC compliance
- Implementing process improvement and enhancing the financial control environment
- Assisting with the budgeting, forecasting and three-year plan process
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Coordinate the audit as well as preparation of the consolidated group statutory accounts and tax returns
- Track record at FD or similar level of senior leadership.
- Recognised Chartered Accountancy Qualification (ICAEW / CIMA / ACCA)
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills and experience with working with ERP systems.
- Confident & fluent communication style
- Attention to detail and excellent accuracy
- The ability to lead and coach a team

Job Description
Reporting into the Managing Director, the Finance Director will take responsibility for all day-to-day financial aspects of the company's operations.
