    Description

    Daley Recruitment Limited are recruiting a Factory Manager on behalf of a small to medium sized, family run food production business.


    As Factory Manager your key objectives will be to manage and optimise the performance of a manufacturing facility, manage and train staff to maximise the benefit of the facility and to optimise production capabilities.

    People & Training - Lead, motivate and train staff to achieve high standards through clear, effective and fair communication

    Operations - Ensure all orders are complete and deal wit any issues or shortfalls, develope and manage factory planning, control and reporting system.

    Develop and lead improvement in operational productivity and reduction of waste.
    Performance - Implement KPI's and review on regular basis and ensure Operational requirements and service levels are met

    Production Team Management - Ensure effective methods of communication between departments and within the factory and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business performance.

    Have experience within a food production and factory environment
    Have previous experience in Budget Responsibility, Performance Management, Health & Safety and Operations Management


    This role is based on Monday to Friday but with a degree of flexibility to meet the demands of the business and its customers.
