    Assistant/Assistante Manager Compliance

    My client is currently seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Financial Crime Compliance Specialist.

    As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to financial crime compliance.

    Oversee the Quality Assurance framework for financial crime.
    Become a subject matter expert in financial crime compliance, supporting both Compliance and Business teams.
    Execute independent reviews within the Financial Crime framework.

    Produce reports and provide Management Information (MI) for reporting into the UK Compliance Committee (LCC) and Business Risk Committee (BRC).

    Assist in drafting, editing, and enhancing policies and procedures related to financial crime.
    Conduct Financial Crime Thematic reviews within Private Banking and Corporate and Institutional Banking teams.
    Provide regulatory advice and support for various projects, including financial crime training for relevant business units.
    Collaborate with the Head of Compliance/MLRO and their Deputy to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    Offer leadership, support, and expert knowledge on financial crime compliance to stakeholders and junior team members.
    Support the planning and execution of the Financial Crime Monitoring Plan (FCMP) and presentation to Executive Committee (Exco).
    Aid in the drafting, embedding, and management of Financial Crime policies, including AML/CTF/PF, Bribery and Corruption (B&C), etc.
    Deliver targeted training to various business units on financial crime-related regulatory matters.
    Support Business Units with various financial crime-related risk assessments.

    Professional Financial Crime certificate or Diploma preferred

    Competency surrounding Corporate, Wholesale, Private Banking products, especially in areas such as Trade Finance, Syndicated/Bilateral Lending is critically important as the incumbent will have to analyze and interpret complex documents and financial crime themes surrounding this area.

    Excellent communication skills across all levels, from analyst to Senior Business Management level.

    Ability to work with little supervision, be confident in your abilities, and make well-informed judgments relating regulatory needs to business needs.

    Action-oriented with a passion for producing quality work.
    Analytical mind with a methodological and mechanical focus.
    Excellent command of written and spoken English.
    Accurate, organized individual, flexible, and willing to undertake any task in support of the team members and clients.
    Excellent knowledge of MS Office skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    Positive "can-do" attitude combined with a flexible approach to tasks.
