- Basis: 6 month fixed term contract
- Location: Cheltenham (hybrid working with minimum of 3 days office based per week)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
- Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (pro-rata) + enhanced benefits package
- Assist with tasks around the recent implementation and roll out of a new finance system
- Maintain the purchase and ledger on a daily and weekly basis for each site/development
- Undertake sales ledger activities including: Processing demands for service charge and reserve funds, ensuring all transactions are recorded and producing sundry sales/intercompany recharge and rental invoices
- Cash management activities
- General ledger activities
- Deal with enquiries from homeowners and site/development based staff
- AAT desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of accounting systems, ideally MRI Qube
- Experience of service charge accounting will be an advantage
- Experience of finance transformation will be an advantage
- Strong IT skills are essential - including spreadsheets (Excel & Sheets)

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract to support our team through a busy period.
Your role
You will work as Finance Assistant reporting to our Service Charge Accountant within our customer operations transactional accounting team. We have recently developed an internal management function that will oversee the management of buildings & our site based communities and manage the financial side of service charge accounting. This role will assist with the team with the following:
About you
You'll be an experienced Financial Assistant/Administrator with some experience of Purchase Ledger. We are looking for someone who is highly organised with a great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise. You'll have excellent communication skills and the confidence to converse at all levels.
What we offer
This is a full time role offered on a 6 month fixed term contract, we are offering a salary of up to £30,000 per annum (pro-rata). You'll be based from our Cheltenham office with the option of working from home for up to 2 days per week upon completion of a training period.
