- Verifiable evidence that you have worked in the workplace at or above the level of the Award assessing.
- It is essential a qualification in a construction discipline to minimum level 6.
- A professional membership of CIOB/CABE/RICS would be desirable.
- Have a minimum assessor award such as D32/33 or equivalent.
- Possess a decent broadband line to conduct remote & site assessments.
- Have verifiable housebuilding experience, ideally as a site manager, inspector etc.
- Proven experience of working with E- portfolios, City and Guilds learning assistant.
- Keen to work within a large team of assessors.
- Possess current & relevant CPD associated with the role.
- Able to attend two standardisation events per year.
- Have a full driving licence.
- D32/33, or A1, or TAQA equivalent – Essential.
- Construction related NVQ level 6 – Essential.
- Construction related NVQ level 7 – Desirable.

We are looking for consultant NVQ Assessor's, with experience in Residential House Building.
At NHBC our core purpose is to build confidence in the construction and quality of new homes.
We also use our unrivalled expertise, data, and training services to support the homebuilding sector in their continuous drive for construction quality. With increasing demand in this area, we are pleased to grow our training activities, drawing in additional talent, knowledge, and experience to an already exceptional and passionate team.
What you'll be doing
We are looking to engage, on a sub-contract basis, fully Accredited NVQ Assessors, who have current demonstrable experience delivering & assessing construction NVQ's. Typically, level 4 Diploma in Construction Site Supervision & Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management, both residential route. Facilitated through attending site & remote assessment practices.
