    Description

    An exciting job opportunity has arisen for an established Lymphoedema Practitioner to join the busy and dynamic Lymphoedema Cancer Service at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.


    The dedicated Lymphoedema Specialist Practitioner team are based in our Cancer Centre which opened in 2016 bringing most of our ambulatory Cancer services under one roof.

    We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist or Allied Healthcare Professional to join the team.

    The service provides care for adult cancer patients who have Lymphoedema in a daily outpatient treatment clinic and offers supportive care for in-patients.

    The postholder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate expert patient care and provide specialist advice in Lymphoedema to patients, families and health professionals within GSTT.

    They will be responsible for developing communication pathways with key stakeholders including GPs and District Nurses across health and social care settings.


    The postholder will also be involved in management tasks such as the development of policies, involvement in quality and audit initiatives and educational programmes for staff and students.

    Professional qulification (Nursing or AHP)
    Substantive experience at a Band 6 or above

    Continuing Professional Development
    IT skills and ability to Microsoft applications
    Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional
