    Trainee Substance Misuse Practitioner - Swadlincote

    part-time of 22.5 hours per week, fixed-term 6 month contract

    £14,400 per year (£24,000 WTE)

    We have an exciting opportunity at Derbyshire Recovery Partnership for someone who is passionate about beginning a career in the substance misuse sector.

    As a trainee, the role will involve developing the skill set, knowledge and competencies to become a Substance Misuse Practitioner, via a mixture of training, coaching and practice-based learning.

    This role will be based at our Swadlincote office (at Rinkway industrial estate), working 22.5 hours per week, within office opening hours of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Specific working days/times can be discussed at interview. The role is a 6 month fixed term role. At the end of the trainee role, there is an opportunity to apply for a permanent Substance Misuse Practitioner role.

    The role is based in a busy community drug and alcohol service. It will involve developing the skills to offer a range of harm reduction interventions, assessment, risk management and recovery focussed interventions to support our clients attain improved health outcomes and achieve their personalised treatment goals.
