    JOB TITLE: Business Development Coordinator

    SITE LOCATION: Tamworth

    HOURS: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:30 – 16:00 Friday

    REPORTS TO: Sales Director

    Job Purpose:

    To assist the external sales team in identifying opportunities and converting quotes to purchase orders via the CRM system, whilst obtaining site build programmes to aid the Sales and Operation Planning department.

    Key Accountabilities:

  • To ensure all quotes issued are followed up in a timely manner with follow up / notes diarised.
  • To secure purchase orders, where possible, to improve conversion of quotes.
  • To help protect margin during the negotiation process on project quotes.
  • To feedback salient information gathered regard live projects to the relevant estimator and sales managers to aid close of sale.
  • To help the implementation and adoption of the CRM system throughout the Commercial department.
  • To assist identifying and logging projects from either Glenigans database, internet (Linked in, Website enquiries).
  • To help train current team and future members of staff to log enquiries via the CRM system
  • To obtain build programmes where possible to assist the Production Planning department.
  • Prioritise workload and work independently, concurrently, and accurately on multiple projects.
  • Upsell and promote benefits and values of the market leaders BBA certified products over competitors.

  • Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Any exposure to the construction industry would be advantageous
