    Deputy Headteacher - Llandough Primary School


    About us
    Llandough Primary School is a one form entry primary school within Llandough. There are 208 pupils on roll, from Nursery through to Year 6.

    As a school, we aim to provide a happy and stimulating environment which allows children to flourish and excel whilst fostering a nurturing ethos that allows all children to succeed.

    Due to the promotion of the current Deputy, we have an excellent opportunity for a strong, highly motivated, organised leader to join our thriving school.

    The Governing Body, staff and pupils are seeking an innovative Deputy Headteacher to join us on our next phase of our journey.

    The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
    About you
    Governors are committed to appointing a Deputy Headteacher who:


    • Has a proven record of excellent classroom practice;
    • Proven track record of leading curriculum reform and design;
    • Has very good leadership and management skills;
    • Has a clear vision and high expectations for school improvement;
    • Has excellent personal and team building skills;
    • Has excellent understanding of the curriculum and staff development;
    • Is strongly committed to working closely with governors, parents and the wider community.
