    The Governing Body of Borough Green Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher.

    We are looking to welcome a new Deputy Headteacher to our warm and friendly school. You will be someone with the skills, knowledge and attitude to build upon the school's successes sharing a desire to contribute to the next steps of our journey.

    We are an Ofsted rated Good school where, 'pupils and staff enjoy warm and positive relationships.' (Ofsted March We truly believe in offering the very best provision for pupils, staff and families within our community and, 'High ambitions for behaviour and learning have been clearly established.' (Ofsted March 2024)

    The successful applicant will be working closely with the new Headteacher, Governing Body, SLT, and a dedicated and dynamic staff team, all who have a shared alignment to fulfil our school vision expressed by our school motto, 'Learning together with kind hearts and determined minds.'

    Alongside the job description and person specification, we are looking for an experienced leader who is:

    · Child focused - enjoys working with children and making a difference every day

    · People centred - we want someone to fit in well with our team and establish excellent relationships with our children, staff, parents, governors and the wider community

    · An expert at multi-tasking- understanding that there will be lots to achieve on a daily and weekly basis, as well as commitment to achieving our longer term goals

    · An experienced class teacher (across the Key Stages) able to demonstrate a track record of excellence in pupil outcomes

    · Loyal and committed - someone who is excited to take a rewarding and challenging journey

    · Solution focused - a reflective communicator who will listen to all stakeholders and thrive on solving problems

    · A capable communicator - able to lead key areas of school improvement and implement strategies to move the school forward

    · Fun - in this role, it is important to enjoy it and have a sense of humour
