    This is an exciting opportunity fora nearly or fullyqualified ACA or ACCA accountant to join ourAssurance (Audit) team as a Senior in our rapidly growing Charitiesand Not for Profit Sector.This role is designed for someone who ismotivated to assist our clients who are in thecharitable sector.Experience in Academieswill be a bonus.

    How YouWill Make a Difference

    You will lead auditassignments collaborate with clients to understand their financialposition and help lead a team on theseassignments.

    YouWill:

    • Carry out audit and independentexaminationassignments and be responsible for every aspect of thefile from planning to completion.
    • Prepareaccounts for our charity and notforprofit clients in compliancewith the Charities SORP FRS 102 and the CompaniesAct.
    • Manage a team of juniors/semiseniors beingaccountable for their work and providing constructive feedback asyou support them through their accountancyqualification.
    • Workclosely with managers andpartners assisting them with submitting final (audited) accountsand charity tax returns within reporting and clientdeadlines.
    • Attend finalisation meetings withclients to support managers and partners in presenting the teamsfindings.
    • Build relationships with clients onand offsite as a representative of BKL
    • Leadand mentor junior team members.
    • Stay abreast ofchanges to Auditing Standards and charity law standards as well aschanges to UK GAAP and the Charity SORP incorporating new practicesinto audit strategies.

    YouWill Be Ideal for This Role If

    • Youhave experience in the preparation of statutory accounts preparedin compliance with UK GAAP and the CharitySORP
    • You are a qualified accountant in practiceand have direct experience with charityaudits.
    • You have completed or are about tocompletea professional accounting qualification (ACA ACCA orequivalent).
    • You are technically competentacross all areas of the audit file.
    • Have stronganalytical problemsolving and communicationabilities.
    • Are passionate about supportingcharitableorganisations.
