    Senior Mechanical Engineer

    • Birmingham – Hybrid Working (2 days in the office)
    • EV Company Car
    • Salary - Negotiable and dependent on experience
    • 9 day working fortnight

    Fourblue are working with a growing Design Consultancy. They are an independently owned company who specialise in Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental Design. Offering their expertise to a wide variety of clients across all sectors within the construction industry.

    They are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join this fast-growing team. You will be managing the Electrical and Mechanical engineers within the Project Team.

    Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer

    • Acting as a Project Lead managing multiple projects across the business
    • Managing a selection of client accounts and carrying out business development activities for the business
    • Assisting the Project Director in advising on the resourcing and performance of the group
    • Coordinate design with electrical design members and have the ability to review the overall project brief
    • Manage internal design programs against client target dates to ensure timely issue of information and project financial performance
    • Assist sustainability engineers with modelling input data and criteria, this should also include the review of completed reports issued by the department for correctness
    • Support with the development of junior/intermediate team members
    • Ensure good working relationships are established and maintained, and the Client's current and future needs are assessed and acted upon

    Criteria for this role

    • 2+ years experience in similar role with sufficient exposure to all technical aspects of the role and understanding of the industry
    • IT literate with a working knowledge of office, AutoCAD and Hevacomp
    • Fully conversant with current building regulations, CIBSE documentation, British standards, BISREA documentation and all other design guides associated with the building services industry
