    JobSummary

    Aspecialist geo data manager is required to configure geographical informationservices and provide technical geospatial support to the C4ISR Programme inrelation to all map dependent applications. This includes all activitiesrequired to transition to a cloud like hosting environment.

    Responsibilities &Duties

    TheOEHE project was initiated by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in response totheir requirement for a secret fixed application hosting environment. TheOEHE addressed this gap by providing the MOD with a capability to hostseveral applications concurrently across multiple operations and caveatswhilst also providing the MOD with the ability to on-board new applicationswhen required.

    Dueto the complicated nature of the applications specific mapping configurationwithin the OEHE environment, the project requires a technical specialist witha detailed understanding of geographical data sets and their configuration inaccordance with various industry standards to support a range of differentapplications.

    · Provideevidence of at least 4 years expertise in managing and configuring ESRIArcGIS Enterprise products and Geospatial datasets/services provided bymilitary SGCs. ( Weighting %: 25%)

    · Confirmationof Knowledge plus example of materials issued by DGC and other SpecialistGeospatial Centres and the expected file structure for Geospatial data. ( Weighting%age: 25%)

    · Demonstrate knowledge and familiarity withREST WMS services. ( Weighting %age:25%)

    · Demonstrate competency with legacy ArcGISDesktop products (ArcMap and ArcCatalog) along with knowledge of theirreplacement software (ArcGIS Pro). ( Weighting %age: 25%)

    Nice to have Skills

    · Demonstrate your experience of working withindustry partners ( Weighting %age: 50%).

    · Demonstrate an understanding of some of thevarious requirements for hosting applications that have a Geo Element ( Weighting%age: 50%)

    DevelopedVetting (DV). Should be valid during the span of the project period.

    · Weekly Hours: 40 Hours.

    · Over time: Yes (subject to project manager'swritten approval)

    · Language: Fluent in English.

    · IR35 regulation applicable. ( UK Citizenonly ).

    · Consultant must have his/her own computingdevice, internet connection, & relevant S/W i.e., windows10 etc. whileworking for assignment either from home or sometimes from our customer'soffice.
