    VTC Independent School is seeking a dynamic and visionary Headteacher. This is a pivotal role for an experienced leader or an ambitious middle leader ready to steer our institution as we embark on an exciting phase of growth and enhancement.

    We are a nurturing independent school offering a tailored educational experience to pupils from Year 9 to Year 13. Our students benefit from small class sizes, typically 4-6 pupils, ensuring a highly personalized learning environment.     The Role:

    As the Headteacher, you will:

    • Provide transformative leadership to the School and its associated Post 16 college.
    • Collaborate with a supportive Advisory Board and a dedicated Senior Leadership Team to drive the next development stage.
    • Lead with a commitment to excellence, setting and achieving ambitious targets within a community-focused framework.

    Desired Qualifications and Experience:

    • Proven experience in senior educational leadership, preferably with experience in SEN settings.
    • Demonstrated capability in strategic planning and excellent financial management.
    • Strong track record in enhancing educational outcomes and leading effective teams.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to navigate cultural nuances and foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students, parents, and staff.
    • Experience collaborating with advisory bodies and external stakeholders to achieve educational objectives.
