    About the Job Title: Head of Engineering at Vodworks

    About the Role:

    As the Head of Engineering, you will lead the engineering team, drive product development, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions. Collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and Operations teams will be crucial to meeting customer needs and market demands.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the engineering team, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
    • Develop and execute engineering strategies to achieve company objectives.
    • Drive end-to-end product development in partnership with cross-functional teams.
    • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within budget.
    • Oversee engineering budget and resource allocation.
    • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous enhancement.
    • Stay current with industry trends and technologies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
    • Over 11 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership position.
    • Proficiency in software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
    • Proven track record of leading successful engineering teams and product deliveries.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Experience with various technologies like JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, Java, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, GCP, and more.
