    Senior Strategist (Data & Analytics)

    Boutique Insight & Strategy Consultancy

    LONDON - UK

    £50,000 - £60,000

    About the them

    Boutique Data and Analytics insight and strategy consultancy that translates insight into commercial opportunities and recommendations for clients in the FMCG space.

    About the role

    As a Senior consultant you will:

    • Coordinate cross-market (or cross-topic) analyses from multiple analysts on projects from end to end.
    • Lead projects and own methodologies and analysis - a chance to be the voice of data with support from analysts.
    • Manager delivery expectations and presenting to stakeholders and clients
    • People management of consultants, their development and creating and implementing strategic initiatives

    The ideal candidate

    Analytical

    • Methodologies and Tools: Possess proficient analytical skills and familiarity with a broad array of tools and data sources,both qualitative and quantitative.
    • Analysis: Experience in utilising diverse datasets effectively, generating thorough and systematic analyses independently.
    • Insight Communication: Display adeptness in identifying, synthesising, and distilling crucial findings into impactful, action-oriented deliverables.
    • Insight Application: Demonstrate critical thinking by interrogating client briefs and contemplating potential business ramifications, drawing from a foundational understanding of the relevant category.
    • Process Optimisation: Contribute to high-level methodology development throughout projects, striving for innovation and setting benchmarks for new methodologies and replicable approaches.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in analytics or market research
    • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and visualisation
    • Experience in managing and leading high-performing teams
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering insights-driven solutions
    • Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques and methodologies
    • Ability to think strategically and provide actionable recommendations based on data insights
    • Experience in the consumer goods industry is a plus
