    Role Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DFM Engineer to join our team. As a senior engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about designing innovative solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Take charge of the design and development of state-of-the-art mechanical systems and components, ensuring they surpass all technical and performance requirements
    • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to gather design inputs and ensure alignment with our ambitious project objectives
    • Conduct meticulous analysis and calculations to validate designs and identify areas for optimisation and enhancement
    • Create meticulously detailed engineering drawings and specifications for flawless manufacturing and assembly processes
    • Manage the entire prototype development process, coordinating seamlessly with our external vendors and internal resources
    • Conduct comprehensive design reviews and provide invaluable technical guidance to our team of talented junior engineers
    • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and advancements in mechanical design, continuously contributing to our culture of innovation and excellence

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a focus on product development
    • Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully designing and delivering complex mechanical systems that surpass expectations
    • Possess an expert-level understanding of design for manufacture and production processes, ensuring flawless execution
    • Display exceptional proficiency in using cutting-edge CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, to bring your designs to life
    • Showcase outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling you to overcome challenges and drive innovation
    • Thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, effortlessly managing multiple projects concurrently
    • Communicate with clarity and finesse, allowing you to build strong relationships and work seamlessly with diverse teams
