    Our client is part of a renowned property management groupin London, known for its exceptional service and extensive portfolio ofcorporate and retail tenants. Over the last 30 years the Group has serviced the world's blue-chipcorporate and retail tenants whilst undertaking the design, construction andmanagement of the ever-growing Estate.

    The team manages all aspects of the Build to Rent assets on theEstate, as well as the initial management during the final constructionprogramme and handover period.

    Our client is dedicated to providing a superlative serviceto residents, 24hours a day and 365 days per year .They are looking for a Continental Shift Engineer to join their existingteam, working a shift pattern of days and nights.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Reporting directly to the Manager – Operations, theContinental Shift Engineer ensures that residents (tenants) have the bestrental experience and consistently delivers the highest levels of customerservice, becoming a brand ambassador for our client.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identifyand diagnose faults, and carry out repairs, adjustments, and othermaintenance works as appropriate.
    • Carryout routine servicing, repair, or adjustment of plant or machinery inaccordance with the planned maintenance schedule or as tasked by theManager – Operations.
    • Adopta flexible approach to other skills or trades to ensure cost-effectivecompletion of tasks.
    • Undertakeother skilled tasks as demonstrated.
    • Monitorplant and record data using supplied documentation.
    • Maintainthe highest possible standard of plant and equipment efficiency.
    • Assistin ensuring all working areas are clean and tidy, and remove refuse andwaste materials as appropriate.
    • Undertakephysical lifting and activities as required.
    • Complywith the Company's "Health & Safety" policy and proceduresand report any hazards or infringements to the Manager – Operations.
    • Completetime/task sheets on a daily basis.
    • Undertakeany other reasonable duties as requested by the Manager - Operations.

    QUALITY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

    All staff are required to comply with quality managementsystem requirements and ensure effective implementation to meet qualitystandards.

    Requirements

    • Previousexperience in a modern building services maintenance environment with abasic understanding of HVAC and building services.
    • Completionof a full-time apprenticeship in electrical or Building Services HVACdiscipline.
    • Competencyin Information Technology and Building Management Systems.
    • Tidy,presentable, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
    • Abilityto work as a team member and communicate effectively.
    • Customer-focusedand diplomatic.
    • Abilityto make decisions for the benefit of the business.
    • Abilityto work at heights outdoors for some Maintenance Operators.
    • Appreciationof the importance of customer service in the context of our client.
