    Job Description

    Division: Euroclear United Kingdom & International (EUI) The Role: The Product Business Analyst (PBA) possesses a high level of motivation in their support of the Business Owners of EUI's services. The successful candidate will help the Product Owners ensure that their ideas become a reality by using their skills and knowledge of UK financial services to develop a model for how the service should operate. Candidates must understand the value of the current service to EUI's clients and will act as the primary interface for gathering and validating requirements from external and internal system users, including both clients and partners. Responsibilities
    • Ensure possession of a strong understanding of the service which supports the relevant Product Owner, including where the service is described in written form.
    • Work closely with individual Product Owners, PBAs and SMEs to help translate the high-level business requirements into a clear set of categorised and prioritised detailed business requirements.
    • Identify service attributes which are of value to users and potential clients.
    • Develop a sufficiently detailed understanding of both current operation and implications of future enhancements to support the creation of polished written communications and deliver oral communication of findings and recommendations in an effective and efficient manner.
    • Collaborate positively with stakeholders across the business to secure support for recommendations.
    Skills Required:
    • Possess sufficient experience of the UK Financial Services industry and EUI's role within it to allow for proactive contribution to discussion and performance of analytical tasks.
    • Possess, or have the ability to rapidly develop, an understanding of risk assessment methodology and apply on an ongoing basis
    • Good understanding and/or willingness to learn about the detail of the allocated current CREST service line.
    • Experience of gathering and consolidating requirements from cross-functional groups and from both external and internal sources.
    • Experience of developing user stories to support the production of requirements.
