    Arcadis is the leading consultant in the South West residential and commercial market.

    We have a strong profile in the private residential sector and advise social property owners and local authorities as they become increasingly involved in meeting housing demand.

    Our team's work extends from asset planning – defining the business/investment case, setting up the governance structure for delivery, managing design – through to asset delivery – taking schemes out to market, advising on procurement and managing delivery.

    In this role, you will work with colleagues in providing project management services to high profile public and private sector clients.

    You'll work with colleagues to provide pre and post contract project management services.

    You may also act in other related capacities including Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator in support of our PM Team achieving service excellence and positive outcomes for our clients; showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; Working within established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce plans, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets.

    Delivering/assisting to manage small to medium scale projects or programmes of work (up to £10m in value), ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines.

    Presenting any project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted and ensure the delivery of projects to compliant standards.

    Analysing and reviewing a range of data to identify key themes and trends and use the outputs to produce recommendations that support project decision-making.

    Previous experience managing small sized projects.
    Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships.
    Building the ability to negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
    Commercial acumen and organisational understanding.
    A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
