    Role Description:

    We are in search of an experienced Technical Director to oversee our MEICA discipline for water & wastewater projects in the UK. This role involves establishing and nurturing relationships within Arcadis and our clients, taking charge of mechanical, electrical, and ICA engineering delivery, ensuring quality and supporting project completion.

    In our Resilience Business Unit, we focus on safeguarding the natural environment and water resources while striving to power our world for future generations. As we face challenges like climate change and urbanization, we work towards protecting our environment and ensuring a sustainable future.

    Role Accountabilities:

    • Lead and enhance the MEICA team's capabilities
    • Promote continual improvement in safety performance
    • Identify efficiency opportunities
    • Provide technical leadership
    • Support recruitment and development
    • Lead technical projects effectively
    • Stay updated on industry developments
    • Establish performance targets and budgets
    • Conduct technical reviews
    • Encourage innovation among team members

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Demonstrate successful leadership of a medium-sized team
    • Hold a relevant degree
    • Professional status with recognized bodies
    • Experience in MEICA engineering
    • Knowledge of water sector projects
    • Experience in design and delivery
    • Understand water treatment principles
    • Familiarity with safety protocols
    • Experience in technical review and assurance
    • Lead Safety by Design
    • Stakeholder management skills
    • Strategic thinking ability
    • Strong communication skills
    • Understanding of sustainable design
