    Role Description:
    Do you excel in technical and structural leadership, delivering complex design and engineering services in the water and energy sectors? Are you enthusiastic about successful project delivery with a focus on sustainability? If shaping a UK design community, collaborating with contractors and clients to provide innovative structural designs while tackling intricate challenges excites you, keep reading.
    • Hold a qualification as a Civil & Structural Engineer with expertise in industry best practices
    • Provide senior-level leadership for your technical discipline
    • Lead and expand your team both locally and internationally
    • Contribute expertise to large multi-disciplinary projects
    • Foster relationships with clients and oversee specific project aspects
    • Possess experience working with contractor clients on constructible designs
    • Lead by example, remaining composed under pressure
    • Mentor team members and share discipline knowledge within the organization
    Role Accountabilities:
    • Lead the structures discipline for the Resilience Global Business Area (GBA) in the UK and Ireland
    • Develop internal and external relationships within the GBA
    • Collaborate with Operations and Structural Design Leads
    • Prioritize and enhance safety, health, and environmental performance
    • Oversight and approval authority for structural design
    • Contribute to technical strategies and future service delivery
    • Report to Business and Engineering Directors
    • Manage team capabilities, ensuring optimal resources for projects
    • Identify and address performance issues
    • Promote innovation and uphold industry standards
    • Support professional development and diversity initiatives
    • Review and provide technical guidance for projects
    Qualifications:
    • Chartered Member of Institutions of Civil and Structural Engineers
    • Degree in civil or structural engineering
    Required Skills & Experience:
    • Demonstrated leadership of a medium-sized team
    • Experience in complex multi-disciplinary projects
    • Passion for structural engineering and design
    • Proficiency in safety standards, design management, and project delivery
    • Strong stakeholder and contract management skills
    • Ability to think strategically and drive continuous improvement
    • Excellent communication skills and project management experience
