    An international law firm based in the heart of London, known for its exceptional legal services and industry-leading expertise in private equity transactions is currently hiring. They are dedicated to providing tailored solutions to their clients and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

    Position Overview:

    As a Private Equity Associate within our client's esteemed firm, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on a wide range of private equity transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and work on high-profile matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex private equity transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional matters and provide strategic advice to clients.
    • Draft and review transactional documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and disclosure letters.
    • Assist in due diligence investigations and the preparation of due diligence reports for clients.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, counterparties, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
    • Manage deal closings and post-closing matters, ensuring all legal requirements are met and transactions are successfully concluded.
    • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and market trends in the private equity sector.

    Qualifications:

    • Qualified solicitor with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in private equity transactions.
    • Strong academic background with a law degree from a reputable institution.
    • Proven experience working on private equity transactions within a reputable law firm.
    • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
    • Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
