Description
We are currently working in partnership with reputable Housing Association, based in Yorkshire, who are looking to appoint a Surveyor on a two to three month temporary contract.
This will be a full-time position based covering a patch in Yorkshire, with hybrid working (two days home working) and an hourly rate of £ £32.00 per hour on an umbrella basis.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within Social Housing and of completed pre and post inspections within responsive, planned and cyclical maintenance.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out stock condition, responsive cyclical maintenance, void property and planned works surveys and inspectionsConducting pre- and post-inspections of works and snagging on completed worksPreparing schedules of worksSupervising works carried out by the inhouse team and external contractors, ensuring works are completed to high standards, within time frames and budgetsDelivering works using the CX and Keystone asset management systemsAssisting in the preparation of annual budgets and procurement of revenue and capital contractorsProcessing tenant and resident requests to undertake alterations to propertiesCommunicating effectively with tenants and providing a high level of service at all timesExperience required:Experience required in Social HousingExperience working with customers within housing Skills, knowledge and expertise required:Knowledge and awareness of related housing regulations/ lawExperience of contract management and carrying out property inspectionsExperience of delivering face to face customer serviceExperience of developing partnership working with support agencies, local authorities and community groupsGood understanding of the social, economic and political context in the neighbourhoods in which we operateIT skills - Microsoft office to Intermediate levelWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday – Friday Two days working from home, three days on patch/in the officePlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
