- Carrying out stock condition, responsive cyclical maintenance, void property and planned works surveys and inspections
- Conducting pre- and post-inspections of works and snagging on completed works
- Preparing schedules of works
- Supervising works carried out by the inhouse team and external contractors, ensuring works are completed to high standards, within time frames and budgets
- Delivering works using the CX and Keystone asset management systems
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and procurement of revenue and capital contractors
- Processing tenant and resident requests to undertake alterations to properties
- Communicating effectively with tenants and providing a high level of service at all times
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
- Knowledge and awareness of related housing regulations/ law
- Experience of contract management and carrying out property inspections
- Experience of delivering face to face customer service
- Experience of developing partnership working with support agencies, local authorities and community groups
- Good understanding of the social, economic and political context in the neighbourhoods in which we operate
- IT skills - Microsoft office to Intermediate level
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
- Two days working from home, three days on patch/in the office

Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with reputable Housing Association, based in Yorkshire, who are looking to appoint a Surveyor on a two to three month temporary contract.
This will be a full-time position based covering a patch in Yorkshire, with hybrid working (two days home working) and an hourly rate of £ £32.00 per hour on an umbrella basis.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within Social Housing and of completed pre and post inspections within responsive, planned and cyclical maintenance.
