    We have threenon-executive director roles available, due to tenures of our currentcolleagues coming to an end. In these roles we are looking for people who haveeither a clinical, finance, or other business background to make sure we havethe right balance of skills.

    We have also chosen to introduce two associate non-executivedirector roles, having had previous success in this area, to help withsuccession planning.

    Main duties of the job

    We are looking for individuals who are passionate aboutdoing their best for patients. We are not just looking for the requisite skillsand experience of our non-executive directors; we want to know how they wentabout it, what they did to achieve the impact or outcome they are claiming.

    Importantly candidates will play influential roles inbuilding and maintaining our culture of compassionate and inclusive leadership;and enable our drive to meet the aim of our equality, diversity and inclusionstrategy of leaving no one behind.

    Job responsibilities

    Non-executive director roles

    We are looking for three exceptional individuals to fill our non-executive director roles. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about doing their best for patients. We are not just looking for the requisite skills and experience of our non-executive directors;

    we want to know how they went about it, what they did to achieve the impact or outcome they are claiming.

    We want on our Board, those who have not just achieved great things but can describe how they have done them and what they achieved. It is the behaviour that will determine their impact and positive contribution as a KCHFT Board member, not the fact they were involved in something.

    We particularly welcome applications from candidates of a black and ethnic minority background as they are under-represented at this level in our organisation.

    Reports to: Chair

    Salary: £13,000 per annum (plus 20% supplement for chairs of our main committees)

    Associate non-executive director roles

    We are looking for two exceptional people who have ambitions to become a non-executive director, to join us as associate non-executive directors. These are development roles where we will provide support to ensure readiness for non-executive director roles in the future.

    We particularly welcome applications from candidates of a black and ethnic minority background as they are under-represented at this level in our organisation.

    Salary: £9,000 per annum
