    Job Description Financial Controller
    VC Backed GamingTech Platform
    £70/75k plus equity
    London

    Talentedge are working with a rapidly growing GamingTech Startup who are looking to hire a Financial Controller who has experience working with the gaming sector.

    This role reports directly into an impressive Finance Director who has a wealth of experience scaling businesses.

    The business have seen enormous growth over the past 18 months therefore have had the need to create this role.

    They are back by some highly influential investors and have very aggressive plans to grow and become a household name

    Duties and responsibilities of the job include:


    • Manage all accounting operations including transactional finance, Core Accounting and Revenue Recognition
    • Prepare timely monthly financial statements
    • Preparation of regulatory reporting
    • Resolution technical accounting issues for compliance
    • Support month-end and year-end close process
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
    • Manage and comply with local reporting requirements and tax filings
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Additional controller duties as necessary

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
    • 3+ years' experience in a mid senior accounting position
    • XERO knowledge
    • High level Excel skills (proficiency with VBA - beneficial)
