    Description
    Galop is the UK's LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, working with and for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence.

    Specialising in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, honour-based abuse, forced marriage, so-called conversion therapies, and other forms of interpersonal abuse.

    Galop uses what is learnt through working on the frontlines with clients to work on national and local policy change, to improve outcomes for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence.

    Galop is a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.

    Financial & Risk management oversight:
    Maintain an overview of the charity's financial affairs.
    Offer guidance to the Board of Trustees and the CEO on all financial matters.
    Ensure the charity's statutory financial viability.

    Financial reporting and analysis:
    Oversee, approve, and present annual budgets, financial statements, and quarterly management accounts.
    CEO expenses, Credit card activity.)
