    The Company – Head of Marketing Brand Recruitment have partnered with an award-winning Consumer goods company to find a Head of Marketing to join their hugely successful team based in Buckinghamshire. Home to a huge portfolio of iconic brands and products, this global, award-winning company is a destination employer for brand specialists.

    The Role – Head of Marketing This is an amazing opportunity for a driven, visionary and creative senior marketing professional, with proven experience heading up the marketing strategy for consumer brand. Candidates must have experience across the full marketing mix, as this role will encompass trade marketing, brand partnerships, marketing activation, market research, PR, ecommerce, CRM, digital incl. social media and product development, ecommerce, and events management. Prior line management and agency management is essential, as you will have a small team working underneath you.

    As Head of Marketing, you will have full management accountability for a market leading brand across both traditional and digital marketing activity. You will be expected to work across the full marketing mix to deliver a successful marketing strategy that drives the brand performance, brand awareness and increases sales both through their direct ecommerce site and through retail channels.

    Key Requirements – Head of Marketing The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand management, ideally having worked within the toy industry specifically - but experience within consumer goods/consumer durables is also highly advantageous, with experience developing and implementing annual marketing plans. This is a strategic role which will see you leading on marketing and brand strategy, we're looking for candidates with the authority to drive and deliver whilst managing the expectations of stakeholders.
    • A minimum of 8 years in a senior brand marketing role within a consumer goods business
    • Demonstratable history across the full-mix - full marketing mix - strategy, planning, trade marketing, brand partnerships, events, market research, PR, ecommerce, CRM, digital incl. social media and product development.
    • Experience in strategic planning across all media/ retail touch points to drive demand
    • Product line and pricing management experience.
    • External agency and team management experience
    • Vision, drive and passion for consumer brands and retail
