    We are seeking a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate Contractor who will be responsible for developing and performing in vitro studies for mechanism of action and efficacy of novel biological and/or small molecule therapeutic agents, including nucleic based approaches to support drug discovery efforts across multiple programs from target validation to human translation.

    Ability to interact well with scientific colleagues and work effectively in a team-oriented environment will be necessary.
    This role is a 12 month contract. Pioneering Medicines 3rd party agency will be hiring for this position.

    Employees under this position with be working at Pioneering Medicines as a contractor with the possibility to convert to a full-time Pioneering Medicines employee based on performance and other criteria in the future.

    Perform laboratory-based assays in BSL2/ BSL2+ environment for validation of potential drug development targets and to characterize diverse therapeutics.

    Independently conduct experiments and analyze data.

    Bachelor or Master of Science degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a laboratory of academia or industry.

    Industrial experience is preferred (PhD is not excluded)
    Prior working experience with in vitro cell based pharmacology assays using human or rodent primary cells.
    Proficient in assay development for testing compounds across different modalities.
    Hands-on experience with cell-based and molecular biology assays, such as flow cytometry, immunoblot, ELISA/MSD and qPCR etc.
    Experience of in vitro testing of LNPs is highly desired.
