    You'll be responsible for building multiple approaches to predicting uncertain events and build up systems of forecasting for both short-term and long-term forecasts and improve DCC's understanding of customer behaviour and future requirements to support DCC's Capacity Management function and wider Stakeholder community.

    In this role, you'll work with DCC's analytical team to interpret and visualise message volume data and shape data sets to fulfil requirements and provide insights from initial analysis to inform detailed requirements for deliverable solutions.

    You will ensure forecasting performance metrics, procedures, processes and systems are developed, implemented and of a quality that delivers timely and accurate forecasts.

    You will also identify and analyse the impact of risks, changes and opportunities that can affect the forecasts and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner.

    Manage short-term and long-term forecasts of future message volumes using statistical modelling.
    Proactively determine risk and opportunities through scenario analysis.
    Provide variance analysis of several key metrics (various forecasts vs each other and vs. Excellent person to person communication skills with a track record of relationship building and liaison with business functions.
    ~ A bachelor's degree in a statistics, econometrics or data science field.
    ~ Knowledge and experience of PowerBI, SQL and Python.
    ~ Experience of large volume data analysis, interpretation of results and production of summaries/recommendations.
