    Are you an experienced NHS Payroll and Pensions professional?

    The ESNEFT payroll team are looking for a experienced, enthusiastic payroll professional to step into the Deputy Payroll Manager role.

    Spanning ESNEFTs two acute sites, community sites and community services, this role will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely remuneration and pensions advice for our dedicated staff.

    As our Deputy Payroll Manager, you will be an integral part of the team that supports the backbone of our organisation.

    In this role you will lead a team of skilled payroll professionals, overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of payroll and pensions for our employees, whilst influencing positive change.

    Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our reputation for reliable and timely remuneration services and accurate pension processing and filing.

    You will provide ongoing training and support to your teams whilst working alongside the Payroll Manager and Head ESR, E-Rostering and Payroll to strive for continuous service improvement.

    Management /leadership qualification or equivalent knowledge at post graduate level
    Evidence of continued professional development
    Project Management Qualification

    Proven experience of working in a management/leadership role within an NHS Payroll environment
    Practical NHS Payroll experience
    Project management/co-ordination
    Payroll qualification

    Financial procedures including budgetary management
    Business planning /annual planning
    Good understanding of change management
    Word , Excel, Outlook, ESR and Health Roster) - standard keyboard skills
    Demonstrable knowledge of service improvements and project management
    Risk management and governance
    Management /leadership qualification or equivalent knowledge at post graduate level
    Evidence of continued professional development
