    Aramark UK has an exciting opening for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our well-established Finance Team. You will be specifically aligned to our Workplace Experience Group.

    The primary focus of this role is to provide timely and accurate data/information to the Finance Director, Director or Operations' and Sales Directors relating to all key data points across the Workplace sector. This will involve the constant creation and evolution of reporting as the data sets grow and demand for information increase. Using this information help drive the sector margins and cash flow position.

    Tenacity will be key to the role as some data is not currently held within Aramark systems, therefore, gathering this from third parties will be required and indeed the chasing of overdue debt from clients. You will also have a key role to play assisting the Operations Directors produce financial models to ensure successful retention of key business.

    This is a full time and permanent role which can be home based but if office working is your preference, we have offices in Leeds and Farnborough.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the sector teams in producing and understanding quality financial information – developing understanding and financials and process as required.
    • Liaising with the sector Directors of Ops to produce financial models used for key retention business.
    • Lead the weekly flash process for the sectors in terms of data collation and summarisation.
    • Lead the key metrics process for the sectors in terms of data collation and commentary as to meaning (ATV/SPC/Penetration)
    • Support in the monitoring of the Risks & Opportunities schedule, updating delivery and mitigation plans.
    • Create the culture where cash and collection of is valued as highly and profit.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the financial systems and processes to ensure things are done quickly and efficiently – challenge the status quo to improve process.
    • Prepare key balance sheet reconciliations for the line of business and ensure integrity of the balance sheet – act as the lead in ensuring Blackline process is followed.
    • Engages the business in supporting the financial agenda and ensures the teams understanding of the key processes
    • Can support the operational teams to develop financial understanding and processes
    • Develops an understanding for the "why" and can articulate this to non-finance colleagues to show importance of Data/Information and the commercial impact this has on the Sector

    You'll be set up for success if you have:

    • Good communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
    • Extensive experience of financial systems & Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
    • Willingness to immediately commence ACCA/CIMA study
    • Some broader business awareness beyond the financial arena
    • Able to discuss objectives with those around them in a constructive way to ensure projects and financial projections are implemented/delivered on time and on budget
    • Experience of writing Macros to automate reporting
