    Description
    Job Description We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our innovation team as an Innovation Analyst.

    This role is critical in supporting the bank's efforts to drive innovation, leverage emerging technologies, and maintain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving financial services industry.


    To provide support and assistance to the innovation team in their efforts to drive innovation and leverage emerging technologies within the bank, contributing to the organisation's competitive advantage and growth.

    To support the promotion and adoption of innovative solutions within the bank, assisting in the development of compelling content, presentations, and marketing materials that showcase the bank's technological advancements and innovative projects.


    The Innovation Analyst role sits within the Innovation Team, which is part of Architecture & Engineering Group and serves as an internal incubator for the bank's most strategic initiatives.

    This role is responsible for supporting the bank's strategic initiatives to foster innovation, adopt emerging technologies, and enhance its competitive position in the financial services industry.

    The Innovation Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that the bank stays ahead of the curve by embracing cutting-edge solutions and leveraging the latest technological advancements.

    The Innovation Analyst works closely with various internal and external stakeholders such as:

    The Innovation Team:
    Providing support in research, analysis, and project management related to innovative initiatives.

    The Communications Team:
    Assisting in developing and executing strategies to promote the bank's technological advancements and innovative projects.

    Facilitating communication and alignment between business requirements and technical implementations, particularly in the areas of AI, automation, and emerging technologies.


    Project Managers:
    Contributing to project support tasks, documentation, and progress tracking for innovation-related projects.

    By fostering strong working relationships and facilitating continuous collaboration, the Innovation Analyst plays a critical role in driving the bank's innovation agenda and supporting its digital transformation journey.


    Research and Analysis:
    Conduct research and analysis on emerging technologies, industry trends, and disruptive innovations

    Communication and Promotion Support:
    Collaborate with the communications team to develop content, presentations, and marketing materials.

    Intranet and Knowledge Management:
    Manage and maintain internal SharePoint intranet sites to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and collaboration across the bank.
    Support the innovation team in gathering and documenting business requirements for innovative technical solutions.

    Project Support and Administration:

    Provide administrative support to the innovation team by coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and contributing to task tracking, documentation, and progress reporting.

    Basic understanding of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, automation, blockchain, and cloud computing.
    Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
    Knowledge of content management systems, SharePoint, and knowledge management practices would be an advantage.
    Relevant experience in an innovation/business analyst, project support, or similar role, preferably in the financial services or technology sector.
    Experience in conducting research and analysis, particularly related to emerging technologies and industry trends.
