Financial Controller | Business Services

Renumeration | £80k + bonus + benefits

Location | London, office based (3 days+ per week)

The Opportunity:

Finatal are partnering with a dynamic and rapidly expanding Business Services organization based in the vibrant hub of West London. With recent transactions and significant investment, the company is poised for international expansion. Currently boasting a £10 million EBITDA, the business is on track to consolidate and diversify their portfolio through strategic M&A activities in the upcoming years.

The business operates a growth driven model, working extremely close with clients commercially – involving the finance team heavily in this relationship and often. The business has a number of offices and sites across the UK, Europe & Americas and this expansion is poised to continue.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team and play a pivotal role in our growth journey. The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional with a robust technical background, capable of leading our finance team through a period of transformation and expansion.

Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise to lead the implementation of NetSuite within the organization, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of the system's capabilities.

Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial operations, including FP&A, KPI monitoring, cashflow forecasting, VAT compliance, payroll review, and audit preparation.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of three finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of our M&A investment plan, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business objectives.

The Requirements:

Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).

Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Strong technical acumen, with hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing financial systems (experience with NetSuite is highly desirable).

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

A strategic mindset, with the ability to think analytically and provide valuable insights to support business growth and expansion initiatives.
