Accounts Assistant

iMultiply is engaged on a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant based in Inverness.

The Role

The role of Accounts Assistant sits within an experienced team and will report to senior management. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and a desire to delivery lasting value to their clients. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic environment where you are empowered to innovate and challenge convention.

Day to day you will be responsible for

Processing invoices and performing bank reconciliations
Maintaining client accounting records
Preparing VAT returns
Preparing management accounts
Preparation of year-end financial statements for a wide variety of businesses
Carrying out and reviewing ad hoc tasks such as cash flows, budgets and information for third parties
Maintaining relationships with clients and taking ownership of projects and tasks as appropriate
Other admin tasks to support the wider team

To be considered for this role you will ideally have:

. Worked in an accounting environment for a minimum of 2-3 years but a commercial background will also be considered.

. Comfortable liaising with clients to further develop opportunities

. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

. The ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines and the demands of the business

. The ability to work confidently with cloud accounting would be an advantage

The role will offer a salary £24,000 - £29,000 plus benefits.
