    Property Manager

    Wrexham

    Are you an efficient and organised individual with a passion for customer service? Fox and Tanner are a property development & management company with ambitions for growth, who are looking for an experienced Property Manager to support them on this journey.

    As the Property Manager for our property management and rental group, you'll be responsible for ensuring high occupancy levels and strong customer service. Key responsibilities include, managing advertisements for available rooms, conducting room viewings for potential tenants, performing check-ins and check-outs, and administrative duties.

    The Fox and Tanner Property Company is a fast growing Property Management Company with properties in Wrexham, North Wales.

We want to be the premier provider of quality shared houses for tenants in North Wales. Our tenants are our customers and we want to ensure they have a happy home.

    Our current portfolio consists of 50 rooms. As the company grows there will be opportunities for increased hours if desired, or if you prefer not to work more hours you may be able to manage new team members. There may also be opportunities for commission and bonuses as we move to achieving KPIs and growing the business.

    The Property Manager will report directly to the company directors and will have a key role and influence in the way the business is run. We strongly believe in doing the right thing and encouraging a positive, flexible environment.

    Who are we looking for?

    • Someone who has good knowledge of the area.
    • A self-starter, who enjoys working autonomously and is able to deliver excellent customer services.
    • Good eye for detail and a methodical approach.
    • Past lettings experience.
    • Experience working with property and tenant management software (desirable).
    • A desire to evolve and optimise our existing systems.
    • Enthusiasm about moving our business to the next phase of growth.
    • Ambition to make Fox and Tanner more competitive and profitable.
    • A 'can do' and independent attitude.

    What does the job involve?

    • Managing adverts for available rooms.
    • Scheduling viewings with prospect tenants.
    • Conducting tenant viewings.
    • Tenant referencing.
    • Check-ins and check-outs.
    • Monitor tenant payments.
    • Produce weekly occupancy reports.
    • Produce weekly arrears reports.
    • Dealing with tenant issues and queries.
    • Working closely with the maintenance team to ensure issues are dealt with swiftly.
    • Working closely with the cleaning team to ensure properties remain clean and tidy.
    • Management and oversight of regulation and compliance, including Rent Smart Wales.

    Schedule:

    You will need to have a very flexible approach to your days and hours of work. For the right person the "sky could be the limit." As the company grows, so can you. Ideally this is a long-term position with the possibility of increasing hours or managing other team members as the company grows.

    Normal business hours are 9AM - 6PM. Some work will be outside of those hours and may fit in with an early start or late finish that is flexible for you to arrange to meet your/the customer's requirements.

    Job Types: Part-time (20 hours)

    Salary: £22, ,000 per year pro-rata
