    Property Manager

    At The New World Trading Company we are hiring for a Property Manager on a maternity cover basis (12 month contract)

    We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team on a 12-month Maternity Cover contract. The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our properties, ensuring compliance with all legal guidelines, and fostering positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders. Reporting to the Property Director, You will manage a varied collection of properties encompassing 35 vibrant restaurants, a bustling car park, and a bustling tenanted office block. At New World Trading Company, we uphold the highest standards across all our establishments, ensuring every guest encounter is nothing short of extraordinary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage reactive call-outs with approved contractors and oversee a Planned Maintenance Schedule to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of all properties.
    • Ensure building compliance management through the utilization of Southalls and ProNett, our compliance and facilities management systems.
    • Collaborate with general managers and operations managers to oversee daily site management and address any issues or concerns.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with landlords to stay informed about property updates, construction, repairs, and lease-related matters.
    • Liaise with landlords to address maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of necessary work.
    • Implement practices and systems to comply with Health & Safety regulations and carry out actions from statutory assessments, such as Fire Risk Assessments and Water Risk Assessments.
    • Schedule maintenance work with approved contractors, ensuring minimal disruption to sites and timely completion of repairs.
    • Conduct monthly contractor meetings to review performance and discuss planned and reactive jobs.
    • Conduct regular site visits to assess building condition and address any maintenance issues promptly.
    • Host Quarterly H&S Meetings alongside the Compliance Manager to review safety protocols and address any concerns.
    • Lead special maintenance projects as needed and aid the Development team when required.
    • Generate weekly ProNett reports to track maintenance activities and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.

    Required Skills:

    • Experience in property management or a related field, preferably in the hospitality industry.
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, legislation, and compliance management systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
    • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in using compliance and facilities management systems.
