    Description

    Job Description:

    As the Regional Security Lead for NEE, you will be responsible for the security of Uber's people, properties, and assets throughout the region.

    You will work multi-functionally with local business partners to execute globally focused projects and be responsible for the development and execution of all security processes and programs in your region.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Implement the Physical Security strategy in your region in alignment with the business goals.
    Implement processes and metrics – use data to make decisions
    Maintain positive relationships and effective communication across all regional business operations.
    Coordinate security operations for all locations and staff in cities in NEE.
    Educate key stakeholders on security principles and implementation
    Develop positive relationships with local law enforcement agencies as well as private sector peers.
    Develop security awareness and education programs and materials
    Coordinate response and incident management to address threats towards company staff, assets & operations


    Job Requirements:
    ~ Ability to handle security challenges in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
    ~ Excellent written and oral English language s
    ~ Experience managing contract security services
    ~ Creative 'can do' attitude towards problem-solving
    ~ Comfortable with ambiguity
    ~ Travel required as needed to get things done
    ~ Attention to detail in both written and oral communication
    ~5+ years experience in a security management role
    ~ Able to scale with the business and thrive in a rapid growth environment
    ~ Capable of fostering a culture of Trust, Honesty and Integrity
    ~ Recent hands-on experience throughout the region is mandatory
    ~ A well established professional network of security contacts within the region
