    Maersk Procurement is a service function within A.P. Moller Maersk supporting our business units globally. In Maersk Procurement the vision is: "Every dollar spent is spent professionally". The vision applies to upstream procurement where the ambition is to develop solutions that digitizes and automates strategic procurement processes across all business areas, as well as downstream where there is an opportunity to address complex Procure to Pay industry specific challenges with innovative solutions to ensure an automated intelligent process as well as a much-improved vendor experience for our partners. As an Application Architect you will be instrumental in working with product owners and engineering teams to convert the business vision into tangible products delivering real value to the organisation.

  • You are passionate about architecture and building solutions yourself with a keen eye on emerging technologies.
  • A career in technology
  • A demonstrable track record as a Solution Architect developing scalable andsecure products in agile delivery environmentstaking into account relevant quality attributes, such as security, scalability, performance, availability etc
  • Experience integrating 3rd party SaaS applications with bespoke product build.
  • Experience with eventstreaming, APIs, Microservices, database technologies,and Azure capabilities (including specific experience withJava, Kafka, Kubernetes).
  • Proven ability to engage with business product owners to understand the business needs, processes, and priorities; have led requirement gathering and analysis, and designed solutions leveragingappropriate tools and platforms
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation reaching out when needed to resolve issues.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical & ability to thrive in demanding situations.
  • Prior experience of working within procurement or finance domain is highly desirable.
