    Data and Tech Manager - London, United Kingdom - Annalect

    Job Description Annalect is the Data, Technology and Analytics division of Omnicom Group.

    We enable agency and client teams to deliver data driven outcomes to our clients, by providing best-in-class data, technology, and analytics solutions.

    Operating as a team of specialists, we work in a centralized role across Omnicom Media Group (OMG) as well as embedded in the individual OMG agency brands (e.g., OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science) and with Omnicom Group agencies beyond OMG.

    Annalect has grown rapidly and has established sizeable teams in most markets.

    For these teams, the operating model is:

    Centrally:
    NPD, data management and extensive technical expertise to support agency-teams

    Embedded in the agencies:

    management of client projects, sharing best practice and supporting the learning and development of our client-facing talent, as well as the clients' themselves.

    Role Overview

    The Data & Technology Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic implementation of the data-driven approach to measure the success of traditional and digital marketing campaigns against client outcomes.

    This role involves data & MarTech design and implementation, project management, platform setup and operations, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of MarTech platforms, metrics and methodologies.

    Role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    Data & MarTech Design and Implementation

    Support and manage the Data & MarTech solutions for our client, highlighting existing strengths and key opportunities to increase data-driven marketing strategies.

    Idnetify, design and implement first-party, and second-party driven insights and targeting solutions for our clients

    Support in pitch and scoping of projects & services to increase data-driven marketing capabilities, connecting back to client business objectives.

    Conduct user testing and oversee solution roll-out.

    Project Management
    Scope out project-lifecycle from inception, planning, execution-and-review, working closely with the Data & Technology Director.
    Manage the implementation of additional MarTech and/or data sources, enabling automation of data-driven marketing strategies.

    Support in development of project vision and goals, consult on & maintain the data roadmap, and prioritize tasks and developments for data engineering and technical teams.

    Responsible for the delivery on schedule for all client projects.

    Platform Setup and Operations
    Provide support on consulting and selection of best-in-class technology around Data Cleanrooms and CDPs (Customer Data Platform).
    Lead the set up, implementation and ongoing operations of martech platforms like Data cleanrooms and CDPs
    Produce performance reports and optimise performance of the platforms on a regular basis

    Presentation
    Lead key stakeholder meetings with agencies and clients, in relation to project delivery and progression.
    Support with the creation of easily digestible monthly & quarterly business reviews for senior client and agency leads.
    Distil complex data management processes and outline key successes, areas for improvement, and strategic recommendations.

    Collaboration
    Work with other key departments to help with project deliverables and solutions.


    Skills & Experience required:
    of three-years of data and tech management experience, working within a media-agency, vendor or client environment.
    experience of Data Cleanrooms, DMPs and/or CDPs would invaluable

    least two years of experience using data and insights tools to understand and/or developing effective audience strategies in digital media.


    Preferable:
    deep understanding of data management, governance principles and practice.
    Understanding of media measurement techniques e.g. Attribution, Media-Mix Modelling, Brand Lift Study, etc.
