    Job summary

    This role involves taking responsibility for daily accountingand administrative tasks.

    The position is part-time initially for 6 moths fixed term. The selectedcandidate will report directly to the Partners and Practice Manager and will beresponsible for a variety of duties

    Main duties of the job

  • Raising sales invoices and purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of online payments
  • All sales and purchase ledger related duties
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping using Xero accounting
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT Returns
  • Preparation of accounts up to the Trial Balance
  • Working with partners and practice managers to agree budgets andmonitor spend.
  • Ad hoc duties as required

    We are a team with a strong sense of working together. The admin and reception team play a vital role in supporting the clinical team on a daily basis.

    We work in a primary care setting our excellent Clinical team . We ensure clinical safety and facilitate senior-level support and guidance. We are located in Salisbury and have branch site in Larkhill. The Partnership team is a true Multidisciplinary team consisting of a GP partner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner Partner and a Pharmacist Partner and the practice is very keen on the development of individuals and roles.

    The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong administrative backgroundand demonstrate a proactive, team-oriented approach, willing to engage activelyin all tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, is essential.

    The candidate should possess excellent communication skills,coupled with a keen sense of commercial awareness. We value a positive andconfident attitude, the ability to work both independently and as part of ateam, and the capacity to perform tasks swiftly and accurately while meetingdeadlines. Integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness are paramount qualitieswe seek in our ideal candidate.
