    Farringdon, London – hybrid working
    We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Regeneration & Strategic Projects. This is an exciting time to join the team and be instrumental in the delivery of regeneration of some of our homes. Reporting to the Director of Regeneration & Strategic Projects, you will lead on the delivery of new complex residential-led mixed-use regeneration and developments. You will lead the regeneration of your schemes from inception through to contract tender stage, including the stakeholder engagement process, design and planning, the management of internal and external project teams, governance and audit as well as managing financial viability and scheme budgets.
    Your role within the Regeneration & Strategic Projects team will be invaluable as you will lead and control projects to remain on budget, brief, design and quality and to mitigate risk at all times.In addition to Development experience, the key to success in the role is the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation. Community and stakeholder engagement is a priority for the regeneration programme - building trust within the community by engaging at an early stage, prior to design development and involving residents in shaping the development proposals for their homes.What you'll be doing
    • Lead the delivery of new complex residential-led mixed-use developments including regeneration, new build, acquisitions, and hidden homes - from project identification, negotiation and purchase through all aspects of the design, planning and specification process, and being accountable for the financial viability, governance and programme milestones.
    • Lead the design and planning process for new schemes achieving satisfactory and viable planning consent.
    • Evaluate and assess all routine and complex financial viability appraisals for each and every project on a regular basis to ensure viability reflects project and market conditions.
    • Lead the management and control of each project, including cost, design, quality and risk, using specialist internal and external resources to ensure targets are met.
    • Ensure all schemes maximise efficiencies, adheres to the project brief and incorporates input from construction, programme, and commercial teams.
    What you'll need
    • Experience in social housing property development at senior level and an understanding of the development process and project management of schemes from inception to handover to the Construction team.
    • Experience of carrying out complex financial viability modelling and managing budgets across a programme of schemes.
    • Experience of appointing and leading multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver target outcomes.
    • Experience of leading internal and external teams through regeneration projects, design and planning, and construction tender process.
    • Good understanding of the role of local communities and wider stakeholders in regeneration.
    • Experience of developing and implementing a strategic approach to complex issues in large and diverse organisations with the ability to think through complex issues and work effectively with others at a senior level.
    • An in-depth knowledge of the development process, knowledge of current planning process legislation, regulations, standards, and procedures.
