- Work alongside the Homes Director to spearhead the strategic delivery of Investment, Decarbonisation, and Development strategies, ensuring customers have top-notch homes built for the long term. Focus on eliminating damp and mold issues in all properties.
- Oversee the ongoing assessment of assets, both individually and holistically when necessary.
- Lead the delivery of a top-tier mixed tenure, land-driven, new build, and regeneration program, ensuring a consistent flow of development opportunities to promote sustainable growth and meet strategic objectives.
- Drive efforts to reduce the carbon footprint in properties towards achieving zero carbon emissions.
- Supervise the sales program delivery, meeting targets aligned with the strategic business plan.
- Head the Investment, Development, and Partnerships team, fostering a high-performance culture to ensure quality, value for money, and continuous service improvement.
- Lead in maintaining current partnerships and forging new collaborative networks to expand investment prospects.
- Degree-level education or relevant professional qualifications/experience (e.g., RICS/RTPI/CIOH/RIBA/CIOB).
- Proven experience in a strategic role within investment, development, or a related property field.
- Familiarity with new build development principles and their application within an organization.
- Experience in strategic asset management within an investment setting.
- Skills in providing clear, informed, and objective advice on strategic matters.
- Proven track record in developing strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, implementing strategic partnerships, and leading change initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in managing people, forming cohesive, high-performance teams, and leading change.
- Knowledge of housing design, construction, planning legislation, and processes.
- Understanding of various building procurement methods, contracts, and industry legislation.
- Competence in budget setting, management, and supplier performance oversight.
- Aptitude for effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in strategy development.
- Skilled in managing budgets to ensure value for money.
- Experience in compliance with privacy, electronic communications, data protection, and GDPR regulations.
