    Description

    invoX (invoX Pharma Limited) is on our way, through multiple acquisitions and investments, to creating an international scalable platform to build a portfolio of innovative and differentiated clinical and pre-clinical drug candidates that will improve lives by creating access to innovative medicines across key therapeutic areas, including oncology and respiratory.

    To help continue our growth and success, we are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager . This position will be focused on managing our project finances, and can be based in either our London or Cambridge office

    invoX (invoX Pharma Limited) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited, a global, top 50 pharmaceutical company with more than 24,000 employees.

    Key Responsibilities
    The FP&A Manager performs a wide range of duties that may include, but are not limited to:
    Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to a long-term financial and strategic plan
    Work with project leads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
    Producing models to project long-term growth and determine the impacting business factors
    Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
    Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
    Utilising BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
    Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
    Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre results
    Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost-saving initiatives
    Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
    Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
    Evaluating previous budgets, and expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
    Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations
    Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
    Managing a team of Financial and Business Analysts
    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
    Essential
    Significant relevant financial analysis experience
    Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools
    Strong quantitative abilities
    Able to solve complex problems
    Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
    Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
    High level of commercial acumen
    Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages
    Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA or CFA
    Desirable
    ~ Working experience in pharmaceutical/medical devices companies.
