As an SEN Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in providing tailored support and interventions to help SEN students achieve their full potential.

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver personalized and engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of SEN students, including those with challenging behaviors.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Individualized Support:
Provide tailored support and interventions to meet the specific learning needs of SEN students, including those with challenging behaviors.
Positive Behavior Management:
Implement effective strategies for managing challenging behaviors, creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Differentiated Instruction:
Adapt teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
Collaborative Working:
Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external agencies to develop and implement personalized learning plans for SEN students, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
Inclusive Practice:
Promote a culture of inclusion and acceptance, where all students feel valued and respected for their unique strengths and abilities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working with SEN students, particularly those with challenging behaviors.
Specialist knowledge and training in SEN and behavior management strategies.
Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and implement new strategies to support SEN students.
