Our client is a business that supplies commercial machinery with links across Europe. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team.

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities, ensuring adherence to regulations and optimising profitability.

This position demands strong analytical prowess, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills to relay financial insights to stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities:
Manage all facets of financial reporting, encompassing the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to bolster profitability.
Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring seamless and punctual processing of invoices and payments.
Develop and uphold internal controls to safeguard company assets and guarantee compliance with financial regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements and streamline financial operations.
Offer guidance and nurture the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior management, furnishing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Remain abreast of industry trends and modifications in accounting standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Skills:
Proficient in financial management, with a profound comprehension of accounting principles and practices.
Skilled in utilising accounting software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Possess excellent analytical abilities, adept at interpreting intricate financial data and providing valuable insights.
Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and precision in financial reporting.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to articulate complex financial information clearly and succinctly.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate harmoniously within a team environment.
Proficiency in prioritising tasks effectively and meeting deadlines
