    Head of Learning Content - Remote

    A start-up EdTech in the UK is looking to hire a Head of Learning content. This role is remote, but candidates must be situated in the UK.

    As the Head of Learning Content, you'll ensure that the learning and development products are pedagogically robust, making sure that the content is appropriate for the market. For example, the content would have to differ depending on where, geographically, the audience is; or you've leveraged your experience to ensure the content is adapted for different ages across verbal, visual, and written learning.

    You'll work very closely with the Product, Data, and wider Tech teams, and while you're not expected to be a tech expert, you'll be able to demonstrate an interest in how tech is used to enhance the user's learning experience and compliment the content.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement innovative learning strategies that enhance user engagement and retention
    • Lead the development and improvement of the curriculum and educational resources for English learning,
    • Collaborate with the product and data science teams
    • Conduct rigorous assessments and data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of learning materials and adapt strategies accordingly.
    • Stay abreast of the latest trends in educational technology, pedagogy, and AI/NLP applications to keep our platform at the forefront of the industry.

    Requirements:

    • Strong background in education content development with language learning
    • Extensive knowledge of pedagogical theories and practices, particularly with tech-enhanced education
    • Experienced with data analytics tools, and an interest in AI technologies
    • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
